According to data gathered by the Anti-Defamation League, antisemitism has demonstrably surged worldwide after October 7, 2023, and throughout 2024 and 2025.

Researchers at the ADL have analyzed and found the following characteristics of anti-Jewish hate that have emerged or drastically increased since October 7, 2023:

  • Increasingly explicit support for terror
  • Systematic denial, distortion, and minimization of the October 7th attacks and of Jewish suffering
  • Targeting government officials and other public persons who voice support for Israel
  • Targeting synagogues, Jewish businesses, and other Jewish spaces with protests and vandalism
  • Escalation of BDS (Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions) demands against Israel as well as any individual or institution labeled "Zionist"
  • Calls to target and ban Jewish university campus institutions such as Hillel and Chabad
  • Enforcing an anti-Zionist litmus test for diaspora Jews
  • Increased use of the term “Zionist” as a slur
  • Exploiting anti-Zionist sentiment to promote antisemitism
  • Use of generative AI to promote antisemitism and create anti-Israel and anti-Jewish propaganda

It's time to stand against anti-Jewish hate!

What You Can Do to Help Combat Antisemitism

If you witness antisemitism online or in person, or see it in the news in your local community, here are some things you can do to help combat the hatred:

  1. Report in-person incidents to the Anti-Defamation League and your local law enforcement.
  2. Report antisemitic posts on social media to the platform, and block or unfollow antisemitic accounts to limit their reach and visibility.
  3. Share news about antisemitic incidents to spread awareness.
  4. Pressure your local government, university administration, or law enforcement to address antisemitism and to work to keep its Jewish constituents safe.

Don't forget to check in on your friends and loved ones in these stressful times, and support Jewish artists and small businesses such as by shopping our site.

At the same time, let's take pride in the resiliency, strength, and longevity of the Jewish people - we have overcome and survived, and we shall overcome and survive again!
