The people bring everything they have and get to work making all that is required.

The Mishkan is Created

The men that are supervising the creation of the Sanctuary tell Moses that there is too much stuff, so Moses tells the Israelites to stop bringing gifts and sacrifices. All the pieces for the Sanctuary are made according the instructions that God had previously given Moses, right down to the number of loop in the curtains and the size of the pillars and pins. They also make the holy clothes for the priests, including the gemstone-laden breastplate for the High Priest. The complete the creation of the Sanctuary and Moses blesses them.

Moses sets up the Sanctuary’s components and inaugurates the priests. God’s cloud covers the Mishkan; whenever it is there, the people rest, and when it lifts, they continue on their journey.
